As an actor, Robert has appeared in over fifty productions in the Chicago area and regionally, including work with Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Michigan Shakespeare Festival, Lakeside Shakespeare Theatre, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Goodman Theatre, New American Theater, Irish Theatre of Chicago, Lifeline Theatre, Strawdog Theatre, The Hypocrites, Stage Left, City Lit, Circle Theatre, Bailiwick Rep, Greasy Joan & Co., and Theatre at the Center.
Robert received a Non-Equity Jeff Award (Best Supporting Actor-Play) for his performance as Jean Passepartout in Lifeline Theatre’s world premiere stage adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days (which also garnered an award for Best Ensemble). He has been a member of two other Jeff-nominated ensembles, and appeared in four shows nominated for Best Production.
